Thanks for sharing! That is so cool! My daughter made a small version with just regular batting, for stemmed glassware coasters for a 4-H project when she was in 5th grade. You just slip the bottom of the glassware inside.

I have seen that same method used to make coasters as well, obviously using smaller pieces of fabric and batting.
