    Default Soaked...From Connecting Threads

Cute, cute, cute fabric from Connecting Threads came to my email today. Some of it is laminated and would make adorable raincoats for kiddoes! Maybe even for me!!

Not 'connected' to them, just thought the idea was darling!

My daughter keeps thinking she needs a raincoat from those fabrics, too!

I got my catalog yesterday and we also got 4 1/4 inches of rain at the same time. I had to hang the catalog up to dry and I haven't looked at it yet. Got the email today about the new 'saoked' collection. I hope the next collection isn't 'snowed in.'

I haven't gotten any laminated fabric yet, but I can see a need for it.

I participated in a focus group at CT a few months ago. They showed us the laminated fabric, and it is really nice. I'm looking forward to seeing what people make with it.

LOL we had the same rain you did. I have never seen it rain that heavy before. I may need that fabric too.

The City Quilter in NYC had a class a few months ago on working with laminates. Of course, I missed it. The fabrics from the Connecting Threads are cute but I need something bright to cheer me up on a rainy day . I would like orange, yellow, pink, red...

You should get connected. I love their fabrics.

Yes, I was looking at the collection - especially the laminates. Spotted the free pattern for the toddlers rain coat and I MUST make it for my grand-daughter (she lives in England, it will come in handy!).

Need to find out more about the laminates ... but I really want to make that raincoat!!!

I also wish they came in brighter colors, pinks, yellows and oranges.

I used some laminated fabric for throw pillows for our outside porch swing last year. I was thrilled at how they sewed up but so disappointed a few months later when they had faded over 80% of their color. The porch is covered and I didn't think indirect sun would be a problem so quickly.
