Two guild members have a Tin Lizzy and they complain about the problems with it all the time. Another has one and her's works perfectly. She has checked out the ones with problems and can't get either one of them to quilt right. They were bought from the same dealer too, who just shrugs and says call the company. I guess the quality control is lousy. I wouldn't buy one.

I have had my voyager 17 upgraded with the ram handles its now basically a tin lizzie. I have only quilted one baby blanket with these new electronic up grades and know the motor won't turn on. I am at a loss. I called my quiltbug last week and said he was sending the part . Haven't received the part yet so I called the gentleman who did the up grade he told me he had to build it from scrat. Why didn't he tell me this last week.. I have had nothing but problems since I bought my voyager. I am to the point to quite quilting all together since I have put so much money into it and no results

how frustrating for those of you having problems--know I'd be tearing my hair out. Your problem with it not shutting off may be a switch button--on my Gammill those are pretty easy to change and you can get them at Radio Shack(which still sells stuff in Best Buy) and they are pretty cheap--if that doesn't do it, I'd call manufacturer cause it would seem to be in the electronics mother board then. Good luck!
