    What a great idea...I must try that! I usually do the wavy cut method, but this would be easier.

    I know someone who starches the pieces really good and then sew's them together. Says it works fine.
    I have not tried either way but I sure will try them both.

    Recently I've seen ads for a tape to be fused over the strait edges butted against each other. I intended to buy some this week at the AQS show in Knoxville and then got distracted and never did buy it so I can't comment on the quality of the end result. I have a mess of pieces and would love to put them to use.
