Default wonderful idea for baby quilt

I LOVE this idea! Grandma (quilter) designed fish parts such as bodies, fins, lips, face, tails, etc. She cut out several of each using different fabric, and applied fusible web. Guests at the baby shower were instructed to pick one of each part and assemble their own fish, then write their name and a sentiment on a label that went on "their" block. She will assemble & quilt it for the parents-to-be. How awesome is that?!?!?!?!

Thanks for sharing such a fun looking project. I'm sure a lot of thought and work was put into the process, but Mom will definitely have one of a kind quilt. Going to read article again....maybe try it out. Hugs
