Default Yankee Diary - BOM

Anyone else going to make Barbara Brackman's Yankee Diary?

I've never done a reproduction quilt, so I'm looking forward to trying something new! It starts Wednesday January 25th.

Here's my little pile of fabric:

I am still working on the one from 2015! I love Civil War repro fabric...95 percent of my fabric is either CW or 1930s, and the rest was inherited...

I am going to go check out the new one. Thanks for the link!

Love your pile! I'll have to go check it out. I was working through one of her books but have dropped the ball.

Oh, that quilt is not me, lol. Love CW, but applique... no thanks! Your fabrics are gorgeous!

How do you sign up for it--or do you just go to that website on the 25th?

I think you just go to the website. I didn't see special place to 'sign-up'....I suspect at some point there will probably be a way to share pictures, but I haven't seen info on that yet...

Glad a few others are thinking about it too!

Kristi, I hope to attempt the BOM with Barbara Brackman - actually I've been looking forward to it! I have never done a block of the month either. Sounds like fun.

Glassbird: I also have mostly Civil War or 1930's fabric.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Gonna give it a go. Am drooling over your fab choices. Will you post a pic when done? I hope. Cheers.

Is there a link? I think your color selection is great. Want to see it when you finish.

The link was in the first post of the thread. It takes you to Barbara's blog!
