I've seen this for sale in a quilt shop but don't know anyone who has used it. Have you tried it, how thick is it, can you feel it through the topping and do you use it both sides?
I used to herringbone the two edges together and have zizagged down a strip of fine muslin but this sounds seductively easy!
What is your favourite method of joining wadding?

I just tried it for the first time about a week ago. It was OK. I used to hand sew my batting together. I think I was just not used to it, I'll try it again. I did it on both sides of the batting to be sure it doesn't pull apart.

I used it very recently and was pleased with the results. Had to be careful w/ the ironing since the batting was polyester, but it didn't take much heat. Just did one side. Figured that the quilting would hold it together. Hope I had the right idea. It has held up well during the spray basting and machine quilting. Marge L.

instead of purchasing this tape, you can use strips of interfacing. it's the same thing. the only difference is the tape is alredy cut to a specific size.

I have used the tape and really like it. I always cover it with a pressing cloth just to make sure I don't get anything on my iron or melt the batting. I only do it on one side - saves using so much tape. So far I have only used it on wall hangings. I'm sure it would be OK on a bed quilt as the quilting would hold it together.

i've used it on several bed quilts, no problems at all, and it is very easy, i used to use interfacing but had to cut lots of strips, i like this waaay better :thumbup:

I haven't seen this tape yet. Can anyone tell how much it costs? Also, the interfacing idea sounds good, probably cheaper!

I just piece mine together with a nice zigzag. I have a short tutorial on my blog from a couple of yrs ago.
