    I thought that this was an interesting and unique quilt, and that you may enjoy reading a little of the history behind it too. It proves that quilters have/will use anything to make a quilt :D

    It amazing that it has survived this long, not to mention how well it has been preserved. I wish that they would exhibit it locally one more time before it is sent to GA.

    I also found the quilt mentioned in a rock and mineral forum, where one of the family members has posted private pictures of it, as well as a little more information.

    I am going to try and find out if they have ever used this :D:D:D AND to see if they are going to show it before it leaves to GA
