I got to go on my first Shop Hop in central Wa. We visited 10 shops and got our pattern pieces from each one plus our little goodies bag from each one. Found some great fabric and won a prize in Almira. They called me this week and I won 3rd prize, $550 worth of gift certificates and merchandise. Could,nt believe I won! Met alot of great people and had a ball! Can't wait till next year!!!!!
Then at the Wenatchee Quilt Show I won 2nd place in the medium pieced quilts with my dog quilt. A Buggy Barn pattern that was so much fun to do. First time for doing that too. I'll try to post pics but you know me----I'm computer stupid. I shall try tho. Jan

A Viking Saphire sewing machine was the grand prize, $950 was 1st prize, $750 was 2nd prize and $550 was 3rd prize. Not all of it was cash, most was merchandise. One was a quilt retreat and one rental of a longarm. About $150 to $200 was in cash in each catagorie. Was so cool to win anything! I'm happy!!!!!!!

Arn't shop hops fun!!! I have one here along the central coast of California that I have gone on around 5 times, I missed the one this year cause my daughter got married that weekend. We always have a great time!! Congrats on winning a prize!! On one of ours I won a complete Thimbleberries kit and book.
