Anyone know about how much a 1975 kenmore in cabinet and extra's cams, book would be worth approx? I know it is one owner and rarely ever used. I know of one going onto a garage sale soon and wondered what a fair price would be. Thanks in advance.

I've seen these for anywhere from $30-$50. Sometimes less. I see folks on Craigs List asking for more, but they don't sell....

Thanks, my SIL has one to sell, I don't need another but I could be tempted. A friend is looking for one though

If it's similar to the 1802/1803/1914 series of machines, you should stay away from it. It will be such a beautiful free-motion quilter that you will cry. And then you will have a new machine in your collection. ;)

My 15's get used more for quilting, but only because the throat area is bigger. The Kenmores (1802/1803 & Lady Kenmore 89) are actually better quilting machines. I don't know why, but I suspect it's the orientation of the vertical bobbin - facing you instead of facing to the left.

So stay away from it... if you go to her garage sale, put a blindfold on.... :mrgreen:
