these are the 2 quilts that won blue ribbons this year at the fair- the second one is my favorite (and was 2 votes short of being the 'viewers choice'
the first one- which i don't really like that much did win the 'viewers choice' so i competed with myself this year.
the first one the center is hand pieced/embellished crazy quilt with silks, satins, velvets-lots of embellishing stitching
the second one which is such a vibrant (fresh) looking to me any how was lots of fun to make- it is called Crewel World- from Storyquilts- they gave me permission to display it.

Your quilts are very nice. You never know what will win Viewer's Choice. It's always a surprise to me at our local quilt show. We only have Viewer's Choice awards for every category. The local guild members will vote for a quilt for a special award from the guild. It's usually a hand quilted or hand pieced quilt that get the guild award.
