There are a lot of threads this time of year (anywhere you look ) about organizing and cleaning and purging and making a new start.

Here is mine

I am starting this 27-thing fling over on my blog today, and I took yesterday to give myself a bit of a head start in the cleaning thing in the studio.

My take on this is going to be the whole house though!

By no means complete ( ) there was enough change to really make me desirous of continuing!

You are welcome to join me! (the more the merrier)...

The blog is below >>

Good luck!!

This sounds like the Fling Bogey from the Flylady method of house cleaning I started using a few years ago. It's fun! and in less then three months my house was clutter free and has stayed that way. I learned to clean a clean house. My sewing room is off limits from the Fling. Ha

LOL!!! Yes, very similar to that... but not so many rules, lol.... I tried Fly Lady on and off a few times over the years... but there was a bunch of stuff I couldn't reconcile myself to; however the 27 Fling part has always stuck with me@

It took me awhile to understand the flylady method but I adapted her ideas to what suits me. I think I went more extreme then she does! I have nothing stored or stashed away in a closet or drawer except in my sewing room. If it isn't used, it's out of here. I have one box of keepsake items that mean a lot to me but seriously I rarely look at them. They will be for my girls to decide to keep or not. I guess having to clean out two great aunts houses and was so overwhelmed with 'stuff' they kept for years it makes me cringe when I see closets and drawers full of stuff.
