Some have asked about the size and arrangement of this design. Each rectangle is cut 3"x5.5". I have attached a picture of the individual block as well as the arrangement that makes a quilt approximately 36"x45". Each invidual block is 2.5"x7.5".
I normally select three coordinating prints. However, you can see from the poka dot version that the arrangement is random without design. I like the way the border was made. I used up strips left from cutting the rectangles.

Thanks for the instuctions- looks easy and quick to do but could look stunning with the right fabric - I could picture this with batiks.
