I am interested in everybodies opinion about the 50/50 Batting?
Do you like it? Do you feel it is warmer than 80/20? Do you feel it poofs more than 80/20?
What do you like to use if for the most?
Any and all opinions wanted and welcome.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer, I really appreciate it.

I love the 50% cotton/50% bamboo batting. It is soft and silky feeling and seems lighter than all cotton. Also the needle glides through very nicely.

I've used one brand of 50% cotton/50% poly batting (I think it was Hobbs but it could have been from the warm company) and it was incredibly thin. There was also next to no shrinkage after washing. I wasn't terribly impressed with it (I like the wrinkled look) but you could quilt it something like 10 inches apart.

I have a bag of 50 cotton/50 poly batting from mountain mist that looks light and fluffy (much fluffier), but I haven't used it yet so can't report. It only has something like 3 inch quilting space recommended, though.

While at the Show in Overland Park Kansas it was mentioned by other longarmers there that sometimes the 50/50 and 80/20 tend to come thru the backing fabric it was recommended to feel the batting and the stiffer/scrim side should go against the backing fabric and the softer side faces towards the top. This in turn will stop it from coming thru.
