Accuquilt Go v.s. Bigshot Pro
So, I'm thinking of asking Santa for a die cutter for quilting for Christmas. I've been eyeing the Accuquilt Go for a while because it folds up, I can buy it and the dies locally, and it's a little less expensive, but having never used a quilting die cutter I need input from the experts b-4 I decide what to do.
I recently found a die made for the sizzix bigshot pro that I want and started wondering if I'd be able to use this die on the accuquilt? It seems like I've read that the sizzix dies are too tall to go through the accuquilt, but you can use accuquilt dies on the bigshot. Is that right?
So, if this is the case I may be happier with the bigshot pro, but it takes up a lot more space because it doesn't fold up, right? I guess I'd have to figure out if I can find the dedicated space for it.
And now my final question: What's the diference between the bigshot pro and the bigshot pro quilter's edition? Is there a difference? Would I really need the quilting one? If so why couldn't I just use the quilting dies in the regular Pro?
Thanks!

Don't know the difference between the bigshot pro and the bigshot pro quilter's, but the sizzix quilt dies are slightly thicker than the Go! dies. YOu can use the GO! dies in the bigshots (with a shim), but you can't use the sizzix dies in the GO!.
Sizzix has quite a few quilt dies on sale for black Friday:

Well, I finally decided on the accuquilt go because I just can't justify the space and would need something that can fold. I got it from amazon with free shipping and used a gift card from my sister, so my total was only $174. Not too bad. I hope I love it!

If I had the space, I would get the big shot pro. You can use any brand of dies. I have also read it is easier to roll the die through and it will cut more layers of fabric at a time than the Go!. It is competing with the accuquilt studio (and it is cheaper), not really the accuquilt go. I really needed the fold up storage option, so I bought a Go!.
