Adhesive advice please
I am creating a quilt block for a family quilt. My plans are to take a block from a quilt my great-grandmother made and attach some flowers that I cut out from a terry-cloth towel I had of my grandmothers. I am thinking some sort of spray adhesive would be best, but I am afraid the terry-cloth will fray badly, it's very old. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, terry cloth will fray badly unless you do something to prevent it. I would do a zigzag around the outside of each design piece before cutting it out. That should help. If you want finished edges, you could use E. Burns applique method of sewing fusible interfacing to the right side and turning to enclose the raw edges.

How about making fabric terry YoYos for flowers and attach them with a button through the center? It will be a bit bulky to do YoYos with terry but if you didn't try to make them too small, I think it would work.
