All about the curves...

OK, so I did a small Drunkard’s Path, which turned out nice and am wondering which of the curved pieces to plan next. True, I’ve three tops I’m quilting (not a word ladies, not a word), and one more top to get done before summer, but I want to start planning now.
The double wedding ring still looks hard to me, so does the Giant Dahlia, I was thinking of a simpler New York Beauty though am unsure.
I'll be hand piecing the curves till I get a better machine. What if any of the curved patterns do you think would be good for a novice needing practice?

How about some apple cores?

I think doing the piecing by hand would be simple. It's a pattern you can do scrappy, or with variations on a color, bands of color, and more! The undulations of the cores make an interesting effect. The one at quilters cache is a little rounded, but they look good with more clamshelled edges too.

I have five projects going right now. All very intricate, and very straight.
Let's see your curves.
