It's good to keep in a separate place from your regular thread, clearly marked in a ziplock bag to keep moisture out. I use it and put it right back in the bag before I even bring the regular thread back out. It's great to hold the quilt together temporarily when doing FMQ. No pins to get in the way while you quilt!

The warning on the package says not to use for swimwear...too funny! :)

Not to use for swimwear is funny. Great for a laugh though.

I've never used it. But for FMQ that I'm not very good at yet does sound like a great thing to try though.

Actually, you could use it on any quilt where you want extra basting, but not final stitching there.

i know someone that did that... an entire wohle cloth quilt done on her longarm... and then it was magically all gone. But it did serve as a reminder to put that spool somewhere by itself and not with the regular bobbin thread and invisible threads.
