    Mamahen, the Kenai fabric center is still overwhelming! hard to get thru some of the aisles!

    For those who are interested in the details, a friend and I figured out that in the Anchorage commuting area we have 7 good quilt shops and only about 300,000 people, while on the Kenai Peninsula, with about 100,000 people there are another 6 quilt shops. Bet we have more quilt shops per capita than any other area of the US! It's heaven to be a quilter in Alaska.
