Default Anna Griffin quilt kit on HSN

I am watching the craft show on HSN today. The Twinkle Christmas quilt kit was so pretty! When she said it was fabric reproduced from 30s gift wrapping paper I couldn't believe it! Our next years theme quilt at guild for the quilt show challenge is the 30's fabrics. I like the 30's fabric but all the quilts seems to look alike using the fabric, mostly Aunt Grace reproductions. This will be perfect! Still authentic and it will be different! Here is the pattern:

I feel so productive having all the buying and planning what to make already settled. It's my Christmas gift to myself.

$10 per yard for 9 yards more or less?

I got a good buy! My total price came to $9.77 a yard.

It sells for $10.75 a yard at online shops I trust and 8 fat quarters is $26. That's 13 dollars a yard. I'd need 4 or 5 bundles of fat quarters and that wouldn't be one of each fabric in the line plus the cost of the pattern.

That fabric is so pretty. Thanks for the link.

In the video, I thought it was funny how excited the host was to see the ribbon wrapped fabric collection.

I just purchased one of these today w/15% off coupon. I remembered you mentioning this. I am hoping that you liked the one you received.

It's beautiful! The fabric is excellent quality. I have a few blocks cut and I can tell I'll have ample amount of fabric to make the quilt. This quilt will be for next Christmas.

You are right, this quilt fabric is beautiful and has a great hand to it. I need to start cutting into this. Did you make templates for this? My husband suggested taping the paper template to a ruler and just repositioning the template as needed to finish the cuts. I am also thinking of a tonal from my stash for sashing?? Thanks again for the link.
