Let's see...the "seasonal" isle in Wal-Mart has every candy imaginable and "Nightmare Before Christmas" came out of a 2-disc DVD set. Nothing like the smell candy corn and Jack Skellington to get me inspired to do a Halloween quilt. :)

Any stores doing sales on Halloween fabrics yet?

JoAnn.com has some Halloween fabric on sale, and they have a 40% off coupon on the home page online (good for one reg. priced item). They're also on sale in their stores too.:D

I noticed there were some fabrics at Fabricville on sale when I was to their big sale on Monday..... I will be going back there this weekend perhaps. I am also heading out of town on Saturday for the day to Bay Roberts and will head over to Wescals Department store. they have some nice fabrics there and good prices.. They also have a great deal year round on their batting and backing.. i will be stocking up. I have 9 more of 11 Christmas tree skirts to layer and quilt and I picked up 3 different Christmas fabrics at the Fabricville sale to make up some sets of placemats to sell.

I saw the fabric they have at Wal-Mart. They only had a few though. I bought some black that had white spiderwebs on it last week after failing the assessment test at Wal-Mart (bought some fabric to get my spirits up). There was also another one...kind of a meshy fabric with black spiderwebs (they usually have this one, but the spiderwebs were like "plasticy" instead of velvet).
