Hallelujah! It worked. See what I mean by Blah? I kinda like the idea of appliquéing a bear to the top. Woodsy It would have to be a very small bear though to keep it in proportion.

Well, I hate to disagree, but I think it is cute, not BLAH at all. I am glad you were able to post the picture though, as I was picturing something really awful!

I agree with Dina. Maybe with some quilting will make is pop maybe using a green variegated thread. Are they Xmas trees??? Maybe add some miniature ornaments such as buttons?? See what you have in your household. Never hurts to try test things out.

I think some thread painting/quilting in the trees and pine cone quilting in the white areas might add some interest. I think it is a cute top and the quilting will make all the difference. If you do add bear silhouettes, I might put the mama bear in the center bottom triangle with a baby bear following in the left corner triangle. Cut out the silhouettes in black construction paper, pin them in place and see what you think.

I would have elaborate custom quilting in a stand out color thread.

It looks good the way it is. I might consider adding a dark green border, maybe a fairly narrow one and then the same as the current outside border. But even that's not needed.

I would do some thread work with metallic thread either in gold or silver and think about adding some crystals .

I think it's nice as it is. Appliqueing some smallish butterflies or flowers (or other shapes) in goldy-yellow and yellowy-orange in the bigger white triangles would zing it up a bit.

I like the idea of letting the quilting help. I think it is a beautiful quilt.
