I have a friend that bought this machine and can't seem to understand it. Does anyone know if there is an instructional cd rom, dvd or video that I can get for her so she can take lessons at home?

Was this purchased from a dealer? If a dealer is involved, she should get support from him/her. Does she have the Operation Manual? I'm not ware of a video. Check the Brother web sight.

She did by it from a dealer and I told her to ask, but they just look at her like she is senile. She is an elderly lady and has bad bones so can't get to their store for classes. I thought they might make a dvd for instruction. Oh well.

DON't GIVE UP. My heart goes out to her. Call the main office and explain your situation and the response of the dealer.....do you live close so you could take her lessons and then teach her?

I do live close, but we build houses and I do all the figuring and bidding for my husband, so I barely have time to do much else.
