My son picked out some really cool fabric to make a quilt, and i was telling him that there were some men on here that quilt as well as women. I think he'll have a lot of fun with quilting as he is in love with math. He is 6.5, so I think he's a good age to get started.

So I told him i would show him some pictures and stuff from the men who quilt on this board, so if you are one of those and have pictures or stories to share I'd love to see and hear them. Or if you have a link to quilts made by the men of the board so I can show my son, I'd appreciate that too.

Thanks everyone!! I will share his progress and project once we get started.

    Cheers!
    Rachel

There are several men on this board and hopefully they will chime in here with some encouragement for your son. There is a member named Eddie that has made many beautiful quilts. Here's a link to a list of all the threads he has started. You can click on the different picture ones and see his quilts. http://www.quiltingboard.com/user_to...um=6419&page=1 He has some really great ones!

Thanks guys!! He has really enjoyed looking at all the quilts made by boys, we started on his quilt. He had a great idea for it, so we ran with it. I probably wouldn't have done it the way he wanted it, but that's what will end up making the blanket so special for him I think!

    Thanks again!
