Are you talking about raw edge applique? If you are, I have done a few. I could put some pictures in the other section if you like.

This is a rag quilt I made for a friend and I love it. It's really easy to make till you get to the cutting of the raw edges. Then you have to have a really, really shape pair of shears.

I made a Chenille quilt before and it doesn't get much rawer than that. Love the technique - very easy (as long as you don't cut through the bottom layer- grumble!)
