Curve Master presser foot-best thing since sliced bread!!
I've been working on a double wedding ring quilt since last fall (2011) and have become increasing frustrated with how difficult it was to get it pieced just right. It was laser cut, so I knew that had to be okay. Just used a lot of pins to put the sections together and it took forever!! So I was reading on this Board about the Quilt Master presser foot and thought I'd try it. WOW!! I watched the YouTube videos and after one practice piece, I was off and getting the pieces together very easily!! I finished 23 sections in one hour (a section being the middle "football"and one pieced section. YAY! Before, I was lucky to get 5 done in an two hour stretch!! My frustration level is down and I;m on my way...finally! I have no financial interest in this company, but am so glad to have found their product!!

I made a queen/king drunkard's path with two different sizes of blocks. I pieced quite a few with a vintage short-toed quilting foot and it worked okay - but the CurveMaster was a HUGE time saver and it has that "fence" to keep your 1/4" seams accurate. I LOVE that thing! I buy every new gadget that comes along and some aren't worth the powder and shot to blow 'em to smithereens.... but the CurveMaster is one I would recommend to anyone who wants to make curved seams.

I just got some very old patterns in a box at an auction with other sewing stuff. Most of the pieces were curved perhaps I will get this foot and try some of those old blocks out. They are all templates but it would be fun to try.

Mine came from Amazon. Tom & Mom's had the best price, but I was charged shipping. It came in a day, so that wa good. This is just an amazing presser foot. I'm still not sure how it really works, but am just glad it does!!

I just ordered one. I did a double wedding ring by hand about 15 years ago for my brothers' wedding. Never do that again. But with this I can easily make the wedding ring and other curved quilts. Thanks QB friends for all the GREAT advice. Have a great 4th.
