I recently purchased some 'Three Stooges' fabric to make an apron for my brother that loves to BBQ. Can anyone suggest a simple pattern since I'm a beginner?

Search for "Lucy's Chocolate Factory Apron" on here (ctrl+F and then type). I made this one, turned out great.
