Today is one of those days I just can't seem to concentrate on anything important, so rather than ruin any of the projects I have going I took a break and made a couple of jar aprons! I'm putting one by each machine, and I'll make one for by the cutting area - hopefully it'll keep the clutter to a minimum (but I'm not holding my breath on that one!) I made DH's without the ruffles; think he'll appreciate that?

Notice that I already loaded DH's - maybe it'll keep him outta my toys!

Well isnt that nifty! Is this your own design or did you buy a pattern? I really like it! What kind of jars do you use?

Thanks, everyone :-) I didn't use a pattern; it's essentially 2 piece2 of fabric folded in half. I just sewed where I wanted the pockets to be and then made a channel near the top for the elastic. I used a wide mouth pint jar; just measured around it to get my measurements (about 16 x 5 folded for the apron and 16 x 3 folded for the pockets. )

It's just handy - I can move it around, but the jar has enough weight that I'm not knocking it over.

Perfect so did he like his? You did a nice job. Now for the ladies and gentlemen who would like a pattern you need to post or hey better yet write it out take the picture and send it to a magazine who knows you might get PUBLISHED.
