I made this pattern for my first grand nephew. When I made it, we weren't sure of the sex so I used pale green, yellow, and lavendar.
Everyone loved it, and I even was asked to make one for a friend's grandchild to be.

Littlehud, I just think of a theme, search the free colouring pages on line for inspiration, and adapt them for applique, you get some lovely unique baby quilts that way, I am just doing one at the moment that is based on Noah's ark :D You can do as much or as little 'patchwork, and alternate with a little applique, the choice is yours :D

Check out "Sweet and Simple Baby Quilts" by Mary Hickey. Her quilts are precious, and this particular book has pics of her and her granddaughter, who she made them for!

Congratulations!
