    Default backing question

I am making a scrap log cabin from the bin! Years of dresses, scraps, fat quarters will finally be one of my dream quilts. So excited!

My question is: can I use the leftover bits of flanelette from years of home made pyjamas to piece a backing? I don't have any where near enough "quilting" flannel to do it.

    Thoughts?

    Cheers!

    Aileen

Why not! A flannel pieced back will be cozy and you can create a reversible quilt if you get creative.

Go for it! Personal preference rules. I love pieced backs, but a friend of mine can't stand them. To each her own!

The only important thing I would consider is, will the flannels wash and shrink the same way as fabrics used on the front?
    It would really be cozy.
