Is it possible to increase a Bargello queen size pattern to a king size? How would you do it??? I would like to make one, but would like to do a king size quilt and haven't seen any patterns for that size.

I think Derek Lockwood has king size bargellos. If he doesn't I'm quite sure he can add to one to make it king size.

Just be prepared for the yardage. Typical king size quilt will use about 10 yards total of fabric. A bargello king size may take up to 20 yards total of fabric. So be prepared for the "sticker shock"

I have a couple copies of the Twisted Bargello pattern by Chris Timmins of Australia. It includes Queen size quilt, I would think adding borders to get to King size would work.

P.S. These are original patterns supplied by Chris Timmins - not photo copies.

Twisted Bargello by Chris Timmins $17.50
