To Everyone Who Kept Up With My Grandmother's Sampler Thread:
#1
The eagle has LANDED!! Gramma received her quilt yesterday and likes it very much. I'm hoping my aunt can take a pic or two of it with her so I can post here.
My aunt asked me about caring for it and I drew a blank. I know it won't bleed anymore as the color catchers were coming out white. I told her gentle cycle, cold as that's how I wash mine. I don't have a clothes line to hang mine on, so I throw mine into the dryer. Is it okay, or even preferred, to wash on the line??
Also, my gramma seems to want to put it up somewhere. I keep trying to tell her that I want her to USE it, and she's more worried about it clashing with her living room so she can't display it. I'm happy she wants to display it, but I'd rather her use it. Any advice??

Maybe explain that you want her to use this one and if she wants another one to display ( that won't clash) you will make her another. Or that this is the type you use , not save or display. I am so glad she got it ad can't wait to see the pics of her with it
