W&N has a poly scrim, so the Hobbs brand "Heirloom Natural Cotton Batting With Scrim" would be comparable.

I use to use Warm & Natural for everything until I tried the Hobbs 80/20 when Connecting Threads had a sale. I'm so glad I tried it, it's my new favorite! It handles similarly when quilting and washes up nice. It feels a little lighter weight (good for FL weather), even though I think the weight per sq. yd. is about the same. The price even when it's not on sale is better than I usually see Warm & Natural for.

I like both Warm and Natural and Hobbs 80/20. If you like Warm and Natural .. the 80/20 would be very close . The 80/20 does not seem as stiff or structured as the W&N.

What do you pay per yard for 90" Hobbs 80/20?

How far apart do you need to quilt 80/20. For WN it is every 10" or so.

I use Hobbs batting different types for most all my quilts. I use W&N for quilt projects. I order it from CT and now that it is on sale I stocked up for the year.

I buy W&N from Joann's. Once or twice a year they send those coupons for an additional 20 or 25% off your entire order. That usually coincides with the batting being on sale (half off), so I buy a whole bolt. It's a big expense, but I'm getting it for 70 or 75% off!
