Eleanor Burns has some WONDERFUL books. She says "quilt in a day" but you have to be on extreme caffeine if you want to get it done in a day! I did Nana's Garden & it was very simple. She makes quilting easy & her directions are very clear to understand. So just do it! Have fun & share your project with us! :thumbup: :-D :thumbup:

When I was learning (still am) I started out with just 4 or 5 in squares and pieced a small wall hanging. It helps with learning to do the 1/4 in and the pieces are big enough not to be intiminating. Learning to join the rows and get the squares to line up will help with everything else you do down the road. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. As someone else said, it's only fabric.
