Stopped at the Flea Market on my way home and about tripped over my feet when I saw a sign that said "Fill a bag for $1.00)". This guy had a rack of jeans! I started pulling jeans off the rack like a mad women. I was expecting a small plastic grocery bag but instead he gave me a garbage bag!

Next stop was a few tables over and I got a huge jar of old buttons for $1.50!

Another vendor had a box of ties but he was no where to be found. I might go back tomorrow to see how much he wants for them.

I spent $2.50 and I'm one happy camper. Hubby always said I was a cheap date!

Yep, I just finished one in June and plan to do another. I have a few more projects to do before I can get to it. I'm just happy that I have all the material, and it didn't cost hardly anything.

my best deal was a small Singer (not featherweight) that I use when I travel. $20. Same seller gave me a complete HC set of Dickens works at the end of the day, that was just as good in a different way.

I laughed at the 'cheap date' part. My DH and I have 'cheap date' days/nights and usually go to the hot dog stand for $1.00 dogs or the music hall for $5.00 to listen and have a dance or two.

Sounds like you will be making jean quilts and alot of them or one big one. Go back and see what else you can get.
