Default BerninaArtista 200 Embroidery Machine

Does anyone besides me have issues with the machine stopping frequently with a message to check the bobbin for lint, etc? I brush the bobbin area, remove the bobbin, keep the hook oiled and still have this error message popping up. What should I do?

When was it last serviced? It may be over due for a good cleaning.

I just bought it. I did finally remove the throat plate and dusted inside. Haven't tried it out since.

When my Artista 730 starts doing that I know it's time to give it a really good cleaning, ESPECIALLY in the area of the feed. I also remove the throat plate and then clean in the bobbin area, checking for stray snips of threads, and then give it a good oiling. That has always cured my receiving those pesky messages. Oh, I will still receive them, however, if I forget to close the little door to the bobbin area!

Lint! What Lint?

If your machine keeps giving you messages, you need a cheaper machine! Mine is an Artista 170 and it never talks back!

Yeah, mine is an Artista 180, and it never complains. I would think you have done everything you can. Sometimes they just want to go to the service tech.
