Best Sewing Peddle Gripper
#41
I am going to answer my own question...lol I have a pad under my area rug to keep it from slipping and it works really well...all your suggestions made me think of it. I considered cutting off a piece, but it isn't really large enough as it is, so didn't do that. But I am sure it will work...I can not move that rug unless I take up the pad...which is a thick rubber-ish material.
I just ordered a new mouse pad..tried the one I have now and it worked.

I was at Sam's and found some car mats for $15 for a set of 4. They are heavy rubber with nubs on the back that catch in the carpet. The tops are grooved and grab my foot pedal. I don't know how they would work on solid surface floors but they sure work great on carpet and the price was right. I used the front ones in my car.
If I were on hardwood, I would buy a tub of "skid-grip" that you paint on the back of hand hooked rugs to keep it from sliding, and dab it on the bottom of the pedal.
