Guess what! I found my basting spray. A nice pretty green-capped can of Sulky KK2000 was sitting very nicely on the bookshelf right opposite my ironing station. Need I say more!!!! No, I didn't look there! Why? Because I have NEVER put it there before.

You are not alone at all. Some time ago, a month or more, I finished cutting something and put up my cutting board and the
    rotary cutter.

Later I looked all over the house for it, finally gave up and went on to scissors cutting, and just yesterday I moved a big pile of fleece material that I had put right where I could see it..you can guess it, under it to keep it from the cat was my cutting board and cutter.

I have a theory about lost stuff. When you are not looking for it you will find it.

I have one even more bizarre-I came home from the grocery store the other day and set down my keys and for the life of me couldn't remember where-I looked and looked and couldn't find them. I have a spare set so I wasn't too spazzed out, I was just confused as to where I could have placed them. Hours later my son came to me and asked me why my keys were in the fridge-I guess I put them there when I put away the milk.

Yeah, I had a similar one a few years ago. I was babysitting my granddaughters; one fell asleep in her car seat so I unlocked the door, brought her in and layed her on the sofa. Finished doing whatever it was I was doing and later realized I couldn't find my keys. My older granddaughter and I looked everywhere, refrig and freezer, etc. That night when my son came to pick up the girls he asked why my keys were in the door for anyone to find. DUH!!!
