I'm sorry but I've forgotten who wrote the note about their tearable experience with binding. Sorry I didn't respond then but I had to find my book. This is an amazing book. It has all you will ever need to know about binding in my opinion. It is Happy Endings by Mimi Dietrich. It even has the "magic" way to cut continuous bias binding. It is so fun this method. After I do it I still can't believe you get so much out of a small square. She shows you how to connect your ends together on the bias, no overlapping.
