    I have this thing about things being "upright", but I agree, in the final quilt, I doubt that it will really matter.

    Are you doing a regular nine patch or a DP9? I like them all and for a DP9 any are fine. If doing a regular 9P then I would use one of each to make it uniform.
    A friend is someone who knows all about you and loves you anyway.

    I'm confused by others comments. I only see pictures of four 9-patch blocks. Did the pictures change?

    I like either of the top two. The third set seems to much alike to me.

    I think that you should try switching fabrics The top pink one should be with the bottom green one and the top green plaide should be with the bottom pink. Seems like to top one is too busy.
