Has this happened to you. Some nice board member responds to your request for something or a swap and sends you a package. When you receive it, their board name is not included. This has happened to me recently. Since the board name is more times than not a nickname and they don't always show their city and state, it makes it difficult (for me at least) to match up the package received to a PM. Wish everyone would include their PM name so they can be identified and properly thanked. I usually figure it out by going thru all my PM but that takes a while. Anyone else have this problem or is it just me being dumb?

No, you are not being dumb! I just never thought of it. However, I do have a package ready to send out and I wrote my Quilting Board name on the outside of the package. Great call!

Sometimes it is by mistake that they don't include that info, sometimes it is on purpose  We have a LOT of angels here who like to help out , but want nothing more then to know that they have helped out a fellow quilter
You could just post I received a squishy and what was in it with a Thank You

I have been having the same problem!
but with payment for items
I have several different charm packs for sale
and got a few checks in the mail today
with notes in the memo section that say charms or fabric
have been reading all my PM trying to sort them out
very difficult!

I understand needing the info for payment, but just maybe when someone sends out something they want to pass on a blessing and remain anonymous. I have been known to do that and have even asked the postal person to obscure my stamp location. Sometimes we don't need to be known. 8-)

Never thought about that. Guess my mom's words always ring in my head, "Always write a thank you note." I'll rethink that idea now and just hope I never disappoint someone by not acknowledging a nice gift. (Glad to know what a squishy is) i've seen it posted but had no clue. I always called them a "sersee" So, thanks twice.
