Bonnie Hunter's next Mystery Quilt
I thought I remembered a thread stating when the next mystery quilt would begin but I cannot locate it and of course I did not bookmark it! Does anyone have the date? I could be imagining I read it

If you do Facebook, get on her friends list and you will get a ton of information daily As I type she is on her way home from Bali. You might give her an e-mail or check her facebook page. Her mystery quilts are usually Novemberish. I never have the time to quilt along since it is so close to Christmas.

On her Quiltville facebook page on August 19th she talked about working on her spring/summer 4 part Mystery Quilt for Quiltmaker Magazine but did not mention what issue it would be in. Not sure if this was what you are reffering too.

I hope this helps. I just checked my Bonnie binder. :-) Part 2 of Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll from 2 years ago posted on Friday, Nov. 26. Part 1 would have been posted the week before. Her intro with the yardage requirements would have been a week (?) or two(?) before that.
Looks like last year's Orca Bay print-outs are buried in my sewing room somewhere and I'm too tired to look, but definitely November again. I almost didn't do that one because her suggested colors were black, red, and blue with neutrals...just didn't sound like me. I am so glad I did it.
I really am looking forward to this year's mystery. I'm starting to associate this as a holiday treat-- I'm a teacher so am able to make some real progress while home over Thanksgiving and Christmas, but usually don't get the top completed until later in the spring.

If you find out for sure when it starts, please post that info here on the board. I love to do mysteries, I love Quiltville stuff & can't understand how I've missed her past mysteries. Are they still available?

She usually starts the discussion for her mystery quilt in October so you have plenty of time to get your fabrics together. The first week of piecing instructions is usually around Thanksgiving. I know this because I am always frustrated that I have a house full of company for Thanksgiving Holidays and what I really want to do is go lock myself in my sewing room for the entire long weekend and begin my mystery quilt! I always end up starting it a few days after everyone else.
