Border suggestions needed
I'm working on a small quilt and want to incorporate squares in the 3 1/2" wide (cut width) border. I'm at a loss as to how to do this. Nine patch is out - won't look good with the overall pattern. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks.

I would take some scrap fabric, cut your 3.5" squares. Will you be setting them on point?? If so, you will have to determine the size of those triangles. The finished size of a 3" square set on point should give yo a border width of just a hair under 4.25". Photos always help us see what you are seeing and is easier to give advice. Good Luck !

You could just sew the squares together in a strip and have a scrappy border or make HST with them if you have group of darks and lights to have the contrast.
A picture of your top would help with suggestions too.
