Is it possible to make a bow tuck bag using a single piece of fabric for the bag? (not including the ties, handles or pocket) I have a piece of fabric that I wanted to use to make the bag but I don't have any fabric for the bottom piece. I was thinking maybe I could just use one single piece for the whole thing. I'm just not sure how to cut it. . .I didn't want to just cut the bottom portion from the same fabric because there is a directional print on it and I'm not sure that I'm good enough to make everything line up.

    Thanks

I don't see why not. Just cut it the same size as the interior. That is just one piece.

Agreed, just cut interior and exterior pieces to the same size.

You can do whatever you like with a bow tuck bag! I've caught the bug here in Australia, ordered the pattern on line and have made two for gifts already and planning one for myself. I think a single fabric will look pretty good, it's a very versatile pattern.

I have used just one fabric for the whole purse. Top, bottom, pocket, handles and ties and it turned out just fine. My niece loved it.

That's a good idea, might have to try that myself.

Sorry, no picture. I gave it as a Christmas gift to my niece.
