You can pause the video and that helps to get oriented with the steps.

Which video was it? I skimmed through the binding video, and didn't see a ruler. What time does the ruler appear?

    Was it this tool?

I have a little square with a slit in it, that is great on binding miter corners. But, I couldn't find a pic of it on-line (I bought it at a quilt show, so don't know who carries it).

    It's this binding tool: http://missouriquiltco.com/shop/noti...ducts-inc.html

Looks simpler than the Fons and Porter binding tool.

This is the way how I do it. I don't use a tool at all.

Maybe if you slow down the video and watch a few times I think it will work for you.
