Thanks for posting. I cruise the fabric manufacturer's website for patterns with good bones. Obvious, Piece and Quilt took the pattern and made a stunning quilt. THANKS for the post.

This would be easier, but more fabric required, using that 'fold n sew' method. Would go much faster, though.

Looks like circle of a large flower appliqued to blue block center then two stitch n flips....first black, then print, on corners to create the layered snowball. At least that's how I would do it.........oops...now looking further on the thread and looking deeper, I do see it is hex on hex.......it is certainly an explosive look!

Thank-you EVERYONE who contributed to this thread! KarenK amazing you found the pattern and shared the links, it didn't even have the same name?

I have made copies of the free pattern and read with great interest all the posts, I'm wondering now, if it's in my comfort zone :0)
