Does anyone have a quilt pattern for a quilt with cars on it for a baby? (Antique cars prefered) I need a pattern for a new baby that has a car theme as daddy works on cars and rebuilds antique cars. They do not want the Pixar Disney "Cars" for the little one. (Besides, I just finished that one for the baby's big 2 year old brother  )

As a second idea, they are thinking of possibly using the cowboy theme.

South sea Imports has an older line called Little Hot Rods. Some of the fabric has mechanics tools on it and others nuts and bolts, some with cars on a rod and many other coordinates. Try googling if it sounds like something you would be interested in.

Elkabee fabric has Model T fabric. I used it to make my husband a quilt for our anniversary. I think it is Elkabee's Quilted Paradise. But Google Elkabee fabric and you should find it.

When I first saw your topic I thought it was going to be a quilt for inside the car! LOL What a great idea for these cooooold mornings before the heater wakes up!

Funny you should say that....the first thing I did when I got my new car in October was make her a quilt! Used inexpensive material, but it looks nice and with a flannel back is really cozy.

That's so funny! You know, I do always have a blanket in my car, but it's always an old one (even in Florida). I just might have to make a nice throw for the car sometime.

I have some embroidery designs of antique cars I would be happy to discuss stitching out for you. PM me if it is something you might be interested in.

Here is a picture of one quilt I made with just Fords:

I love them! That's a great idea. I so wish I had an embroidery machine. I'm not quite sure if I'm actually going to go this route yet though. I'd like to hold onto your link just in case.
