Does anyone have a pattern or suggestions on making a quilt for a guy who is into cars?

you could just get some car fabric and use it as the main focal point of the blocks and in the border

I have a 5 year old grandson who loves anything with wheels on it. Especially cars. The guys have taken him to Nascar and he loves it. I found two patterns that have cars/trucks/tractors etc. on it. Plus some new car fabric with roads on it. I found the fabric on fabrics.com/ I can't take a picture right now but will so later and send it. For those that have a boy and cars and wheels this is a good one. I will send it as soon as I can.

There is fabric with "adult" cars on it, then you could get some matching fabric. Keep in mind there is fabric with tools on it too. We all know they have to work on them. YOu can also put in some "blank squars" and use a permanent maker to personalize it or name his car (s) he likes..his favorites. And you could buy it in colors he likes the best. Good luck. Like to see what you finally come up with.

I've been collecting various car fabrics for a quilt for our car club. I googled car fabric.

I have 8 different ones, enough to do the lap size. I also bought trans am and pontiac fabric for me- someday I will do a quilt for me.

My BIL has a vintage 67 Corvette. I found Alexander Henry Corvette fabric in Two colors, the Corvettes are really large so I will fussy cut the 67 for the center, and then a pieced border that I have not decided on yet. Then I will back it with a big piece of the Corvette fabric. It is going to be lap size and he can take it with him when he goes to car show with his vette.
