Default Carpenter's Star help

I want to make a table topper for one of my GD using the Carpenter's Star pattern. The size should be no larger than 60" square. I have Googled for the pattern but can only find bed size patterns. Does anyone know where I can purchase a smaller size?

Just make your squares a smaller size. It's a simple pattern. You can draw it out on graph paper.

As much as I hate to buy a pattern for a classic pattern, this one has 3 sizes. The smallest is 70x 70 but you could make the borders smaller. http://webstore.quiltropolis.net/sto...39&Photo=Three

here's a free pattern almost the right size. you can leave off the two end zig zag rows to make it square.

Here are her detailed instructions. http://www.maryquilts.com/wp-content...-Star-rev1.pdf

With 8 blocks across you can make your table topper any size you want by adjusting the size of the block. 5" finished blocks would make a 40" square before borders. The 6" Mary uses makes a 48" square before borders.
