I am currently making a cathedral window quilt and have chosen not to machine or hand stitch when making the squares...I'm only using a Clover iron to make them. I found the tutorial on the Internet after having ZERO success in trying to make the squares a consistent size. The pressing method makes PERFECT squares EVERY time. My goal is to mak a king size quilt which will take approximately 1550 squares (my finished square is approximately 2 1/2 x 2 1/2"). So far I have 500 made. This is one of those projects that I am in no hurry to make, so it is done when it is done. Using white muslin for the squares and a variety of color prints. Will also be hand sewing the blocks together. Have always wanted to make a quilt entirely by hand.
